I have, believe it or not, been avoiding spinning lately. I left my wheel in its bag for three whole weeks after the last spinners’ guild.
Why, you ask?
Because I am currently knitting an endless sleeve, and don’t want to feel any more desperately behind the stash expansion.
But then, about two weeks ago, the wheel reemerged. I plied, then I spun, and then I plied some more. On Saturday, I set the twist for the next sweaters’ worth of yarn.
And then the wheel was looking at me. It was out, and it wanted to be used. How could I resist?
Lovely spinning. The yarn looks lovely. The singles look so vibrantly blue.
Those singles look suspiciously familiar! (And beautiful.)
The yarn is just wonderfully even and will be wonderful in a sweater. I’m inspired and getting ready to start spinning a sweater’s worth of yarn, too. Haven’t decided the fiber yet, but watching you spin away is getting me ready!
Looks like you’re getting close to needing that sweater design! Those blues are just lovely, too.
Wow! We really do have incredibly similar taste in colors! Tho blues look like a more strutted version of what I’m spinning right now (much less quickly than you, i might add…). It all looks gorgeous!
